Like cork, Kraft-Tex is another product on which we can embroider and use in constructing creative crafts. The bag bottom and the monogram will be made from Kraft-Tex, a durable paper fabric. (Yes, it can be laundered.) This class requires advance preparation of the quilted fabric, but extensive directions with pictures are provided. The monogram techniques from this class can be applied to other projects as well.
The class is suitable for those new to BERNINA embroidery as well as those familiar with their Bernina embroidery modules. Attendees will create a monogram on Kraft-Tex to be added to a quilted bag completed in class. We will add layers to the embroidery design for the letters and use the move and re-size (both proportional and un-proportional) icons to complete the monogram.
Bernina Embroidery Club meets monthly for consistent growth in Bernina machine embroidery skills. Each month we complete a different project so you can practice using the many features of your machine’s embroidery module. We recommend bringing your own Bernina to learn on, but if needed, you may use a Classroom BERNINA 590.
