February BERNINA Embroidery Club: Embroidery Basics and Free-Standing Cacti

Past Class

Whether new to Bernina embroidery or just seeking to refresh/update some knowledge, this presentation style class is for you. Topics covered will include (but are not limited to):
• Loading designs from design packs
• Saving designs in an organized fashion
• Understanding machine icons
• Deciding what stabilizer to use
• Learning what’s important to best maintain your machine
• Sharing tips and tricks

The class will be presented using Power Point slides on an overhead screen. Handouts will be provided, but you should come prepared to take notes to document the information so you understand it when you’re back at home.

Note: The class will start with an assembly of the Freestanding Cacti for which stitching was started in the January class and completed at home. This will not take very long so those attending only for the Embroidery Basics presentation will not be inconvenienced.

Bernina Embroidery Club meets monthly for consistent growth in Bernina machine embroidery skills. Each month we complete a different project so you can practice using the many features of your machine’s embroidery module. We recommend bringing your own Bernina to learn on, but if needed, you may use a Classroom BERNINA 590.

Available seats listed below are for one session of this year-long club. A required supply list will be sent with your registration confirmation.
