Teacher
Trisha has been playing with fabric for many years. She began quilting in 1994 when she wanted to make a gift for her parents' 48th wedding anniversary, and it has blossomed from there! For the last 30 years she has experimented with various methods and projects. Trisha has been quilting since she retired from teaching high school Spanish. She has taught various types of quilts, bags, etc. She has also created some of her own patterns. Most recently, she has been experimenting with "Happy Villages" after being inspired by a class with Karen Eckmeier, who developed the technique. Karen gave Trisha the endorsement to teach her Happy Villages. Trisha has had many students find enjoyment in "working small." Her villages have been featured in Karen's newsletter several times. Trisha is married, and has two marvelous sons, two daughters by marriage, and most recently, a lovely granddaughter. She enjoys teaching and seeing others put their own touches on her patterns as well as the villages.
