The Blooming Nine Patch makes a fantastic color-wash impression with very simple, same-size Nine Patch blocks. Planned placement of the light and dark colors creates a soft impressionistic feel, and the careful workmanship in matching the seams yields a well-crafted and artistic quilt. Hand-quilted by a Mennonite friend, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
