The Tumbling Block pattern can only be done well by an experienced seamstress, and the piecing of this traditional design is very precise. Each diamond has discreet hand-quilting all the way around, adding loft and dimension to the design.

The dark triangles in this Tumbling Blocks Star pattern seem to frame each "tumbling block" in a star.

Hand-quilted by an Amish friend, Lancaster County, PA.
