An enhanced version of the Double Wedding Ring quilt, this option features eight-point stars at staggered intersections. The technique certainly requires a greater mastery of skill from the quilt-maker. Notice the scalloped edges and the accent quilting in both the stars and the open background areas. Hand-quilted by a Mennonite friend, Lancaster County, PA.
