There are three popular quilt patterns in this lesser-known gem. In the center find the Mariner’s Compass star which is encased in a ring of Flying Geese triangles. The quilt’s center block is surrounded by a Trip Around the World block arrangement.

The border ties the colors together and handsomely frames the design.
