Don’t let the name poison your affection for this masterfully-pieced quilt! A Judy Martin design, this pattern is a terrific variation of the Log Cabin classic. Each log is three or four fabrics and represents a significant investment of time. The pieced border, available on some Snake River quilts, adds tremendous appeal and additional cost, but is so worth it! Hand-quilted by a Mennonite friend, Lancaster County, PA.
