In this two-part class you will learn to:

First Class:
Customize the Tamarack Jacket pattern to your personal size.
Make design adjustments.
Cut fabric and begin to quilt.
Finish quilting jacket pieces at home.

Second Class:
Make pockets and attach to quilted jacket fronts.
Bind the outside raw edges.
Assemble the jacket body.
Finish the seams.
Add sleeves.
Add buttonholes and buttons.

Decisions before purchasing fabric:
Are you making a jacket or a vest?
Will the item be reversable?
How will you close the item – hook & eye, buttons & buttonholes, buttons and frog loops, no closure?
For binding the jacket – purchased solid double fold binding tape or self-made seam binding?

Skill Level: Skilled Beginner

The first session of this class will be held on Saturday, February 21st. The second session will be on Saturday, March 14th. Using the link below will register you for both sessions.
