'Starlight' is a beautiful and colorful wall hanging designed by Jaqueline de Jonge of BeColourful. The project finishes at 20" x 20". The star is created using foundation paper piecing which will be taught in class. It also requires traditional piecing skills.
The designer has included detailed instruction in the pattern that comes in the kit along with beautiful batik fabric to complete your wall hanging.
The techniques you will use to complete Starlight include inset curves, the second seam allowance, how to get a straight corner part, how to pin baste, how to ease in fabric, and freezer paper techniques.
Level: Confident Beginner
While Ann will teach foundation paper piecing, you will need to have sewing skills to be able to complete the project.
Please note: You will have to purchase the Starlight Kit, available at The Old Country Store, in order to participate in the class.
