Have you admired the Satchel for Jan sample displayed at The Old Country Store? Perhaps you even purchased the supplies. This class provides you the opportunity to make your satchel, guided by the designer. In the class you will learn how to machine quilt Soft and Stable foam, how to make a zipper pocket, and how to create box corners and sturdy handles. The finished project meets airline carry-on measurements.
The pattern is designed for Arcadia Secret Garden Onyx by RJR. Other fabrics may be used. The design lends itself to large scale, bold prints. Please read the whole pattern and prepare the fabric before coming to class. Be sure to bring all left-over bits of fabric.
