Quilting Basics: Rotary Cutting Skills

Past Class

Whether you're a beginning quilter, or want to fine tune your cutting skills, the very best place to start is at the beginning!

You've been inspired to start a new project and have carefully chosen your fabric. Now let JoAnn help you gain the necessary skills to cut into that fabric, setting you on the path to a completed quilt that makes you proud!

In this class you will learn how to use a rotary cutter, rotary cutting mat, and acrylic rulers. Learn to handle your tools safely and how to care for them. Learn to "square up" your fabric so the pieces you cut are straight, and acquire tips for consistent, accurate measuring.

This class is appropriate for the beginner as well as experienced quilter. Come away from class confident to cut out your first quilt.

The March 16 class will be held on the second floor of The Old Country Store. A required supply list will be sent with your registration confirmation.
