Consistent and accurate piecing is another essential skill for quilters. When you've taken the care to cut your fabric correctly, you want to know you can stitch the pieces together with good results.
In this class you'll sew a basic nine-patch as well as half-square triangles, then combine them to make an 18" square block. While you stitch these classic elements, you'll learn tips and techniques for sewing a consistent seam allowance, pressing correctly, pinning, and making your "puzzle" pieces fit together perfectly.
For the beginning quilter, this class will be another exciting step in making your quilting dreams come true!
This class is appropriate for beginners with some sewing machine experience. Saturday classes will be held on the second floor of The Old Country Store.
