The first session will begin with reviewing the “basics” from your textbook Teach Me To Make My First Quilt, by Pat Sloan. In addition you will make 4 blocks using squares and rectangles. Blocks: Four Patch, Rail Fence, Quarter Log Cabin and Nine Patch. Sally will also give you tips along the way.

In the second session, we will focus on triangles. You will make: Friendship Star, Churn Dash, Pin Wheel and Saw Tooth Star.

In the third session we will make our last block, Roman Strip. Finishing instructions for completing your 9-block Sampler Quilt and information on batting will be reviewed.

Expect to complete unfinished blocks between sessions at home.
