Paper-Piecing with Your Vintage Sewing Machine

Past Class

Have you been wanting to try foundation paper-piecing? Do you own a vintage sewing machine that only sews a straight stitch? Then this project is perfect for you! The block dates back to the 1930’s and has several names: Hummingbird, Kite, and Arkansas Snowflake. You can stay true to the time period by using reproduction fabrics like the sample, or use your favorite contemporary fabrics. The finished size is 24 ½” by 24 ½”.

This class is open to owners of the Singer Featherweight, 301, or other vintage sewing machines. Owners of modern machines are also welcome.

The registration fee does not include the cost of supplies. Click on the link below to view the supply list for this class.
