Construct a cork notebook that includes reverse applique. We will also use the alphabet fonts to add embroidery to one inside flap. You can choose what you want to embroider on the inside flap. The project can be done “in-the-hoop” if you have a maxi hoop. If not, after completing the embroidery designs in a Large Oval or Midi hoop, the project will be finished via sewing.
The class is suitable for those new to embroidery as well as those familiar with their embroidery modules. Attendees will learn how to add words and we will discuss how to adapt designs with your embroidery machine to allow you to overcome a size restriction due to available hoop size.
Bernina Embroidery Club meets monthly for consistent growth in Bernina machine embroidery skills. Each month we complete a different project so you can practice using the many features of your machine’s embroidery module. We recommend bringing your own Bernina to learn on, but if needed, you may use a Classroom BERNINA 590.
