Begin with the basics of machine quilting, learning tricks and tips to make the process easier and more enjoyable. Learn some marvelous things you can do with just a walking foot!
In the afternoon, progress to free motion quilting using a quilting foot or the BSR foot. You will learn how to do many different free-motion quilting designs, what types of threads to use, and talk about the feared word “tension”.
You will go home with a notebook full of designs along with your fabric samples, more confident and ready to try your skills on a wall hanging or quilt.
