Unless designed with an embroidered/quilted border in mind, most projects do not perfectly fit border designs. So, what do you do then? This class will explore the options available for BERNINA embroidered/quilted border placement and size as well as providing a worksheet to calculate these for class and future projects. Although this class will focus on the calculation process, a project will be used to demonstrate how the process works.
The class is suitable for those new to embroidery as well as those familiar with their BERNINA embroidery modules. All attendees should have an understanding of basic math, but don’t let this scare you.
Bernina Embroidery Club meets monthly for consistent growth in Bernina machine embroidery skills. Each month we complete a different project so you can practice using the many features of your machine’s embroidery module. We recommend bringing your own Bernina to learn on, but if needed, you may use a Classroom BERNINA 590.
