Let's start the year with feet #5, #11, and #38. You can try lots of different tricks using these feet!

First, we will go over some machine basics and learn how your BERNINA ticks. Then we will learn how to create a Sashiko look by machine, the secret to a perfect edge stitch, and how to embellish lace. We'll explore hems with Foot #5 and look at techniques for creating invisible hems on all sorts of fabric! Finally, we'll look at Piping foot #38 and learn why this foot is indispensable for heavy trims, hook-and-loop tape, and mini piping.

Bonus Project: If time allows, we will be creating a gorgeous little Sashiko Sunglasses case (pictured). This project will give us great practice with feet #5 and #11 and is easy to finish at home.

This class (one session of a year-long club) is appropriate for those with some sewing experience and a desire to explore the creative possibilities of BERNINA's presser feet. A required supply list will be sent with your registration confirmation.
