Irish Thing

Past Class

The Irish Thing quilt pattern is an easy way to learn to make an Irish Chain quilt. Even if you only have beginner sewing skills, you can do this project. At home you will cut the strips that will create the quilt. In class you will learn to do strip piecing, organizing the parts of a block and how to sew them together so you have sharp corners. You will go home with part of the quilt top completed and the skills to finish the rest in a short time frame.

Although appropriate for beginners, experienced sewers are welcome. Come learn a fast quilt-making method. The author of the pattern even makes the fabric selection easy. The finished quilt is a 53” x 68” Throw.

A list of required supplies (fabric, notions) will be emailed with your registration confirmation.

This class will be held in Classroom 2.
