In this custom embroidery sweatshirt lesson, we cater to a wide range of skill levels, from beginners to advanced enthusiasts. Throughout the course, students will acquire a comprehensive set of embroidery skills. They’ll learn the fundamentals of hooping, machine setup, and the art of selecting the right stabilizers for different fabric types. We’ll delve into essential techniques like pinpoint placement or alternative methods for design placement, including transferring letters from the machine’s font library. Students will gain proficiency in working with density, resizing designs, and achieving precise placement. To excel in this class, participants should have a basic understanding of their embroidery machines and a general familiarity with garment construction. By the end of the course, each student will have created a finished sweatshirt featuring a Nike logo on the front and a custom design on the sleeve. The goal is for them to leave with the confidence and skills needed to continue crafting personalized, embroidered sweatshirt on their own.
