The Old Country store is pleased to welcome a special guest instructor from Delaware, Irene Chandler of Goodnight Irene Quilts. Irene will introduce you to a method of paper piecing that is fast and organized, so that you can complete even complex-looking quilts.

Quiltworx designed new, fast, and easy cutting instructions using Template Layout Sheets, making this a fun and easy quilt for any beginner or advanced quilter to make in just a few days. A sewing technique called foundation paper piecing is used when sewing the pieces onto foundation units. Paper piecing this quilt will result in sharp spikes and exact sized blocks.

Selecting fabric is simplified as you only need a group of fat quarters…half darks and half lights. The finished quilt measures 56"x56".
