The holiday season is here, a time for celebration with family and friends! The Cups and Saucers block represents those special gatherings, when we share food and drink, and use our best china. The Crystal Star block symbolizes the stars that we see this time of year as lights, decorations, and on top of Christmas trees. Both blocks are made quickly and easily with the Wing Clipper tool by Studio 180 Designs.
The Singer Featherweight Club meets monthly to sew blocks that were published weekly in the Kansas City Star newspaper from 1928 to 1961. The blocks have been updated using modern tools and techniques instead of templates.
