Create an out-of-the-ordinary art piece that can then be made into a quilt, tote or purse. You will learn how to do the Dancing Diamonds fabric art designed by Bethany Miller of Plum Easy Patterns. Sally will teach you how to use the template provided in the Dancing Diamonds pattern to create your own unique design. One template creates a 15 ½” x 33 ½” piece that can then be quilted. All supplies are available at The Old Country Store. The sample photo used Kaffe Fassett fabrics to make a Gem Bag. The other photo (on the gallery page) used batiks. Choose two color ways for a dramatic presentation.
Depending on the pace of your work, you could have time to make more than one panel or to quilt one panel. The day of the class Sally will have two Dancing Diamonds sample totes. Supplies can be purchased during the class for completing a tote project at home.
