Want to learn something new and add some additional techniques to your quilting tool kit? Learn four uniquely different methods for sewing curves - all by machine!
During the class you will construct at least one block using invisible appliqué, pin-less piecing, pieceliqué, and the Mini Quick Curve ruler. (You won't need to buy the ruler for the class but you just might want to after you see what it can do!)
We will discuss the pros and cons of each method and review how you can modify existing patterns to utilize your favorite method.
Once you've tried the different techniques for sewing curves, you can pick your favorite and we'll stitch up at least one of the four-patch blocks for this unique and interesting table runner in no time!
Before we finish, we will discuss how to assemble your table runner and quilt it using just your domestic sewing machine and a walking foot.
This class is suitable for an intermediate quilter or sewer with an adventurous spirit.
A required supply list (fabric and basic notions) will be sent with your registration confirmation.
$8.00 ($8.48 with PA Sales Tax)
Kit includes the pattern/instructions for the table runner (approximately 10" x 40") and various tools, foundations, and stabilizers you will use for the four curve techniques.
