Make a cork sewing basket so that your hand sewing supplies are kept neatly in one place. Sewing baskets are historic and often part of the gathering room’s décor.
Create cork patchwork by using your cork scraps or copy the store sample by using three small rolls of The Old Country Store cork. Piecing is done by using your machine’s decorative stitches. At last, a way to use all of those stitches!
In class we will be making an 8” diameter basket with 4” high sides. Please see the Gallery page for more examples.
