This is a two-part class. In the morning, Carol Martin will teach you how to use Q-matic and your longarm to do raw edge applique. Learn the fun of choosing shapes, layering fabrics, and stitching them in place as you applique a multi-layered flower onto the quilt sandwich.
In the afternoon, Carolyn Manning will teach you thread painting on the longarm over the applique, adding additional dimension and flourishes with various threads.
You will work with a partner at the longarm, but you will each be able to create your own project.
