Bring your L 890 and spend the day making a seven-pennant banner while we get comfy with the basics. We’ll start on the overlock side—4-thread, 3-thread, a rolled hem, and a wide flatlock—then switch once to chain/cover for clean chainstitch lines and both wide and narrow coverstitch. Along the way we’ll add prairie points, a ruffle, cross-hatching, and pintuck “waves.” I’ll show you when to nudge MTC, differential feed, stitch length, and tensions, plus quick fixes for ripples, tunneling, and loops falling off the edge. We’ll keep rethreading to a minimum so you can spend your time sewing, not swapping cones. You’ll head home with a cheerful banner, notes you’ll actually use, and the confidence to set up the stitch you need without guessing.
This class will be presented in four 4-hour sessions, on Thursday, November 6th, Friday, November 7th, Saturday, November 8th, and Monday, November 10th, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Using the link below will register you for all four sessions.
