Introduction to Hand Embroidery

Past Class

Hand embroidery is relaxing, creative, and easy to stitch at home or on the road. It is also an inexpensive way to create beautiful gifts- think of brightening up a linen towel or monogramming a set of pillowcases.

Whether you are new to hand embroidery, or are looking for a refresher with in-person instruction, you'll find this an enjoyable and informative class.

Class will cover the basics of embroidery including transferring pattern designs, navigating thread and floss options, and learning at least seven basic embroidery stitches! You'll begin by practicing all the stitches, then move on to embroidering an autumn inspired dish towel.

This class will be taught by Amanda Cole on the second floor of The Old Country Store and is open to all skill levels.

A required supply list will be sent with your registration confirmation.
