In this class you will learn proper placement, how to vary designs with mirroring, and use two colors of thread to quilt. This technique can then be used to create projects with other designs.
This class will focus on the edge-to-edge quilting process while constructing a table runner. Attendees can choose between two sizes depending on the hoop being used. The quilted pattern will be varied with the mirroring functions to add interest to the design. Two shades of thread will be used to quilt to add a color pop to the quilting stitches.
The class is suitable for those new to BERNINA embroidery as well as those familiar with their BERNINA embroidery modules.
Bernina Embroidery Club meets monthly for consistent growth in Bernina machine embroidery skills. Each month we complete a different project so you can practice using the many features of your machine’s embroidery module. We recommend bringing your own Bernina to learn on, but if needed, you may use a Classroom BERNINA 590.
