Quilts that combine applique and piecework are some of our favorite! This one marries beautiful applique flowers (notice both the leaves and petals are heart-based) and the Trip Around the World block design. There’s applique detail on the corners of the border and on the pillow portion of the quilt. Hand-quilted by a Mennonite friend, Lancaster County, PA.
