In this class you will learn to sew appliqué with fusible webbing. Students will make a reversible placemat and then design appliqués to decorate it. Get comfortable using double-sided fusible webbing and practice three types of stitches to secure your appliqués. You will use straight, zigzag, and satin stitches. You will also learn to design your own applique letter and fussy cut a design of your choice from your fabric. With these skills under your belt, you will be able to personalize any fabric project or outfit with appliques you design and create!

Prerequisite: Sewing for Kids: Learn to Sew! class or prior sewing experience.
